Overview

BIM/CIM

What is BIM/CIM?

BIM/CIM (Building / Construction Information Modeling, Management) refers to the implementation of XNUMXD models from the survey, planning, and design stages, and their continued utilization through the construction and maintenance phases while enriching the data at each step. By facilitating information sharing among all project stakeholders, BIM/CIM aims to improve work efficiency and optimize operations for both clients and contractors across the entire construction and management lifecycle.

As of fiscal year 2023, the application of BIM/CIM is mandatory for all public works projects, excluding small-scale operations. BIM/CIM is essential for innovating construction production processes. By integrating infrastructure attribute information across every stage—planning, design, construction, and maintenance—it has become an indispensable tool for the construction and management lifecycle.
