Pioneering the future with cutting-edge technology

Toprise Co., LTD. is constantly pursuing "new technologies for the next generation" in various fields, including surveying and construction consulting.
Our commitment to new technologies has resulted in us obtaining six patents.
Here, we will introduce the six patents that our company holds.

  1. Japanese Patent No. 6625030: Three-dimensional measurement system and three-dimensional measurement method
  2. Japanese Patent No. 7355315: Management system for mobile objects, device for managing mobile objects, and method for managing mobile objects.
  3. Japanese Patent No. 7355316: Management system for mobile objects, device for managing mobile objects, and method for managing mobile objects.
  4. Patent No. 7769346: Mobile body, measurement system using a mobile body, and measurement method using a mobile body
  5. Patent No. 7495762: Composition for the prevention of COVID-19
  6. Patent No. 7748763: Method for producing sword bean miso

1. Achieves high-precision three-dimensional surveying.

(1) Patent No. 6625030: Three-dimensional measurement system and three-dimensional measurement method

When creating three-dimensional point cloud data of wide-ranging terrain and other features, it is necessary to combine the data. We have invented a system and measurement method that significantly reduces the error in this combining process, thereby improving the accuracy of the three-dimensional point cloud data.

2. Developed new drone utilization technologies through industry-academia collaborative research with Carnegie Mellon University in the United States.

(2) Patent No. 7355315: Management system for mobile objects, device for managing mobile objects, and method for managing mobile objects

To efficiently carry out inspection work using drones over a wide area, we have invented a system, device, and method that allows for the replacement of drone batteries at the appropriate time and location.

(3) Patent No. 7355316: Management system for mobile objects, device for managing mobile objects, and method for managing mobile objects

To efficiently carry out inspection work using drones over a wide area, we have invented a system, device, and method that allows inspection work to continue even if it is interrupted due to an anomaly or other issue.

(4) Patent No. 7769346: Mobile body, measurement system using a mobile body, and measurement method using a mobile body

This patent is the result of a joint research project involving three parties, including Obayashi Corporation.
We have invented a drone that can autonomously fly in spaces where GNSS signals cannot reach, such as inside tunnels, while avoiding static and dynamic obstacles, as well as a measurement system and measurement method using the drone.

3. Exploring the potential of sword beans (a challenge involving interdisciplinary technologies)

Toprise is also actively engaged in research and other activities in fields other than surveying and construction consulting.

As part of this effort, we invited Dr. Masaya Sato, Visiting Professor at Niigata University of Pharmacy and Applied Life Sciences, to serve as a technical advisor. We then conducted research on components derived from sword bean and obtained the following patents.

(5) Patent No.7495762Product No.: Composition for the Prevention of Novel Coronavirus Infection (COVID-19)

This patent is based on the results of academic research on "concanavalin A," a component derived from sword bean, whose properties were recognized and registered as intellectual property rights.

Supplementary information regarding the publication of intellectual property information

*This publication is intended to disclose our research findings and intellectual property rights, and does not claim any efficacy or effects for the treatment or prevention of specific diseases.

*We do not currently manufacture or sell any products using this patent, and we have no plans to do so in the future.

*The content of this patent is not related in any way to the efficacy of existing general food products, cosmetics, etc. sold by our company.

(6) Patent No.7748763No.: Method for making sword bean miso

This patent is based on research into a method for producing sword bean miso without a heating process, in order to preserve components such as canavalin derived from sword beans.

Analysis of free amino acids in sword beans produced using this method revealed that the glutamic acid content, a flavor component, was comparable to that of miso made from soybeans using a heating process. (See graph)
