Participation in the FY7 Niigata City Earthquake Response Drill
On Friday, January 16, 2026, we participated in the "2025 Niigata City Earthquake Response Training" held at the Niigata City Fire Department.
The drill was attended by Niigata City officials as well as various organizations that form a vital cooperative framework during disasters, including the Niigata Prefectural Police, the Japan Self-Defense Forces (JSDF), and the Hokuriku Regional Development Bureau. Other participants included representatives from the electric power, gas, telecommunications, and medical sectors. The exercise was conducted with the primary goal of strengthening inter-agency collaboration
Our company was responsible for projecting pre-captured drone footage of the Maze district onto monitors during the headquarters meeting. This allowed Mayor Nakahara and other members of the disaster response headquarters to review and assess the situation. Furthermore, we received a request from Niigata City to cooperate in the future transport of emergency supplies via drone during disaster events.
Through this drill, we gained firsthand experience of the critical process where information from various sectors is centralized at the headquarters to facilitate swift and precise decision-making. This experience not only highlighted the vital importance of communication systems during emergencies but also reaffirmed our commitment to strengthening our readiness for any future crises.
We will continue to deepen our collaboration with related organizations and strive to contribute to the safety and security of the local community.
