Furumachi Geisha in Niigata, the City of Willows | Supporting the preservation of hospitality and traditions

In Niigata’s historic Furumachi district,a place where refined ryotei restaurants have showcased elegant hospitality since the Edo period,
the Geigi tradition—the very heart of this cultural experience—is once again facing a crisis due to the impact of the COVID-XNUMX pandemic.

Supporting the Preservation of Niigata’s Heritage: Toprise is proud to contribute a donation to Ryuto Shinko Co., Ltd.
in support of their crowdfunding initiative.
Our contribution aims to help preserve the traditional arts (Gei), refined style (Sui), and the spirit of hospitality (Omotenashi) that the Furumachi Geigi have upheld for centuries.

As of June, the project has successfully surpassed its second-stage milestone of 6 million yen.
It is now gaining further momentum as it strives toward the third-stage goal of 3,000 million yen.
(As a reward for your support, there was also an "online tatami room"(!))
